Ms. Sue Ushela has worked in faith-based, mission driven educational organizations for the last fifteen years. She spent the last eleven years in Catholic education first in
admissions at Saint Mary’s College before transitioning to Saint Joseph High School.
She feels she is fortunate to work with an incredible group of administrators, faculty, and staff who are committed to Catholic education. She believes in education and enjoys experiencing work of the Saint Joe community on a daily basis.
As Director of Admissions, she facilitates the admission process for students and
families who are actively pursuing enrollment to Saint Joseph High School. She looks forward to meeting and working with families who navigate and discern the choice
to pursue Catholic secondary education. She enjoys observing students grow in
their academic and co-curricular endeavors as well as mature in their faith.
She earned her BBA in Management from the University of Georgia while balancing her
time as a student-athlete, four-year letter winner, and two-time captain on the volleyball team. She worked her way through graduate school earning an M.S. in Sports
Administration from Valparaiso University by serving as an assistant coach for the
Valparaiso University volleyball program. She continues to be physically active by
cycling, walking my dog, and working out.
