Mr. Mark Johnson is a physical education teacher.
He previously taught and coached basketball at Bishop Dwenger from 1984-88. A highlight of the 1988 year was the basketball team was the first in the history of Bishop Dwenger to win a sectional and regional. He taught/coached basketball at other schools, with the majority in South Bend. He spent 30 years in the South Bend Community School Corporation - fifteen years at LaSalle until it closed as a high school, then he moved to Riley, where he also spent fifteen years.
He is a graduate of Ball State University and received his Master's degree from Indiana University.
His wife Judy is a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital and they have four daughters: Lindsey, Courtney, Marissa, and Andrea. He and his wife are members of Little Flower Catholic Church.
"I retired as a teacher/coach from the South Bend Community School Corporation this past year. I am very fortunate to continue teaching at Saint Joseph High School," noted Mr. Johnson.
